Samsung Tri-Fold Smartphone Might Launch In 2025: What To Expect

Recently, the Huawei triple-fold smartphone created headlines and set new market norms. However, despite being late in the game, no one can defeat Samsung.

So, the question arises: where is Samsung? Has it cancelled plans to release a tri-folding smartphone? It turns out that the tech behemoth is still working on it, and it could be released in 2025.

According to a ZDNet Korea report, Samsung Electronics plans to launch a tri-fold phone whose screen “can be folded twice,” along with an entry-level flip phone, in 2025. An industry insider is quoted in the report saying, “Samsung Display’s partners have also completed the development of parts for the trifold model and are ready for commercialisation” of the product.

Expectations

While there are high expectations for this new gadget, it appears that Samsung is not interested in manufacturing a less expensive Galaxy Z Fold. Instead, the business wants to give users more options with items like the recently released Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition.

It's also thought to be one of Samsung's first foldable devices to run OneUI 7, which is built on the Android 15 operating system. Given the price of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the future Samsung tri-fold price in India is projected to be more than Rs 2,00,000.
